Is Occupational Safety & Health Important???

‘… the total of accident involving workers increase to 38% last year, 9.3% increase in accident cases reported as at September 2010, figure amounting to 27, 541 cases, statistic of accident occurrence during back and forth from workplace in the industrial sector top list, 6063 cases recorded in 2008 increases to 6146 cases last year which involving the age of 40 and below…’ source by Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO).

Pacific World Education Alliance has taken an initiative steps by organising a programme in Executive Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, a 13 month duration of studies will give an opportunities for Safety and Health Practitioner, personnel and professionals to upgrade their skills and knowledge, enriching their professionalism and inventing their new ideas and source in handling a safety and health issues incurred at their respective workplace.

This programme conducted by Open University Malaysia (OUM) in collaborating with National Institute of Safety and Health (NIOSH) and this course has been certified by Department of Safety & Health (DOSH).
This programme conducted for interested personnel or professionals those in the industrial, public services, commercial and transportation sector. In giving proper awareness with the hope of decreasing the rate of accident occurrence can be tackled.

This program also took part as our initiatives to contribute more skilful and knowledgeable workers, personal and professionals in fulfilling the skill workers requirement throughout the state and country’s job market.
